hey blink: you notice much additional noise from the load warrior? if so, you think it would be any different w/o the extension? (primarily due to distance from the moonroof)

will be putting a cargo rack on for sure, and the yak seems to fit pretty nicely.

thx

if you are referring to the OEM rack, then i have used it several times in the month that i have owned my truck. big fan of it as it actually seems to be one the most solid factory racks available. will get a lot more use when i get a cargo basket for it and take a little time off to go 'exploring'....

Sorry, my bad. I'm not talking about looks. I don't care what a tire looks like, as long as it is obvious that it will perform. Side by side with other tires, the Silent Armor just don't have what I would consider a decent enough tread design for off the road. On the road, hell yes. They have good ...

What really sucks is researching these things online, only to finally get to a store to see them in person & end up hating them. The Silent Armors have good reviews & look great on paper, but in person they don't seem to hold a candle to the rest. Not sure what I'm trying to say...except th...

can't wait to see how that works out. i got my truck dirty in the aramagosa valley today...stock tires did remarkable well, but the OME is what really shined. went a couple places that the OEM suspension and ground clearance wouldn't have let me...including a forded stream and a weird alkaline swamp...

i keep the balls and mount for my trailer hitch in the smugglers box (tried to hide myself from stomtroopers in there once, but didn't quite fit  ). as for the second glove box, i actually like it...keep my lanyard w/ badges, keys, etc. there...no more forgetting it at home.

well NVS....one of us was going to have to go first w/ the stocks 16s. i'll be very interested to see what you end up w/. looked at some wrangler silent armors the other day...side by side w/ the nittos. the terra graplers looked cooler, but the GYs are pbby a better all around tire. still debating ...

Great find Jim, here's Kenjiro Shinozuka's website; http://www.shinoken.net/ Maybe email him and he might be nice enough to send you some info or post some of the trucks specs on the forum, looks like he's going to do it again this year. I'd be interested in knowing what model of final drives Ken's...
