I use the 31 -10.5 - 15 with 1" wheel spacers. Before I installed the spacers I ran the 31s and the only clearance issue I had was the wheel rubbing the frame on a stop to stop turn.

There is no "rack and pinion" per se. The hydraulic actuator is mounted in two rubber cushions/bushings. The one on the driver's side is directly under the oil filter and thus, gets oily and deteriorates allowing side to side movement which translates into sloppy steering. I went with some...

If you found metal shavings under the distributor cap then there's no point going any further until the distributor is changed. Some here are not very bullish on after market distributors but I've gotten years of trouble free performance on one that I installed and for 75.00 on ebay you could afford...

You'll do much better with the after market running boards or Nerf Bars. I bought a set of stainless running boards for about 200 dollars on Ebay and replaced the factory originals which were starting to rust on the bottom.
Much better looking too.

If you go to the "motors" section on Ebay and do a search for "instrument cluster" for your vehicle, you will see listings for repair services for clusters. You will have to remove your unit and send it in for repair. Prices are reasonable. If you are planning to keep the vehicle...

The thing in the first picture is the clutch slave cylinder. Are you leaking oil or fluid from the slave cylinder? Are you having to add fluid to the hydraulic clutch system or just motor oil?

At 220,000 miles all signs point to the rear seal. The hose and the two metal thingees are transmission vents. They should be bolted to the upper most bolt on the bellhousing passenger side. Alot of lazy mechanics forget to replace them in their rightful location after reinstalling the transmission....

I wouldn't leave the flywheel friction surface smooth. You want to break the glaze just as you would rough up the glaze in a cylinder when changing rings. If you feel ripples when sanding then you might consider resurfacing the flywheel. If you see any indication of oil behind the flywheel then you ...

It's not all that difficult of a job IF, you have the right tools. The hardest part is agonizing over how difficult it might be. You will absolutely need a transmission jack on wheels. If you can't borrow one they're only about 75.00 at Harbor Freight. You will need to remove both driveshafts first....

On the passenger side there are several wires that run to the transmission and transfer case. Neutral safety switch if you have an automatic, 4x4 switch for instrument panel light, reverse switch for backup lights. Are you sure you're not seeing tranny fluid? Under the carpet would only be seat heat...

That looks like they sell the fuel gauge AND speedometer combo. I don't believe they sell the fuel gauge separately.

The fuel gauge can be replaced separately. Three or four screws. A junkyard cluster or one on ebay can be had for about 100 dollars or less. Nissan will not sell just the gauge separately.

Have you noticed any other gauges working erratically? I had a gas gauge problem awhile back but, the temperature gauge reading was also all over the place. I also changed the sender and also the gauge on the dash to no avail. If you notice the temperature going up and down along with the fuel level...

I can now confirm, and I do emphasize that you DO NOT want HD springs on the front. Topping out is a serious concern. I went through 2 sets of Ranchos in less than a year. I'm going to Moog MDs in the front with the KYBs and a 1" plastic spacer. Now I love the 2" lift kit in the rear becau...

I bought a set of his suspension spacers on Ebay. They arrived very quickly. Very nice product. Can't wait to install them and report back. I'll be installing them on top of Rancho struts with 2" lift kit springs.
