Anybody took cabin off?

Hi, I wrote aboit the provlem before, but now I guess it is time to go from thinking towards doing. I need to service turbo and PCV on V9X engine, so there are 3 options, I guess: 1. Took cabin off and have easy access to all hardware 2. Took engine out, but I guess there are quite some exhaust bolt...

Re: Position / clearance lights not working

Well, thank you for scheme, which helped me a lot, despite it also being NOT the right one. I have one for V9X precisely, but that one is not right either. How I SOLVED was actually having 2 (both wrong) schemes there, and testing fuse by fuse, relay by relay. Found out that original relays and fuse...

Position / clearance lights not working

Hi, I am having an issue with ALL position/clearance lights, front and back, both sides, not working. I pulled out IPDM, re-seated all connectors, knocked few times on IPDM housing (because there are soldered relays inside) and when I put everything back toghether...woah, yes, all lights worked! BUT...

Can blinker 3-times auto be reprogrammed to 5-times?

Hi,

my 2010 Pathfinder has nice feature of blinkers to auto blink 3 times, then stop. But I find it a bit too short, at least 4 or 5 times would be just neat. Anybody has an idea if this can be preprogrammed to 5 blinks?

Re: Horn switch worn out

VStar650CL, I hope you are right. I know horn contact it a songle wire on cable shoe, connected to "massive" housing of airbag assembly. I just need to figure out, if by pressing the center I move whole airbag assembly, or rather just a part inside airbag. Good idea you gave me...I go figu...

Horn switch worn out

Hi, I bought 2011 Pathfinder and found out, that horn switch in center of steering wheel nedds to be pressed very hard to honk. This was probably a consequence of bad horn contacts under the hood, so horns did not have contact, and previous owner was probably trying to press center of steeering whee...

Re: Best rugged tire for ~2in lift with stock 18in V8 LE rims

I was looking for rugged tire for weeks, but ended up with Cooper Discoverer AT3 Sport2, as this was thje only option IN EUROPE, which was certified for at least 170 km/h (110 mph). But if you live in US, then my strong and best suggestions are: Kenda Klever R/T KR601 , best reviews all round tire C...

Re: Rim Downsize, is it possible?

It's not about the engine, but brake disc/caliper size on front axle. If you have 320 mm discs front, I think 17'' is the smallest size whjeel that fits. But if you have 296mm discs, then 16'' wheel will fit, too.

Re: 285/75R16 spare tire

On my 2006 Pathfinder the 265/70-R17 (like 31,6 inch diameter) fit perfectly in spare tire compartment, while on facelift series 2011 year, also R51 model it does NOT fit anymore. I am also trying to figure out something. Will let you know of the progress...

Re: Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

Thank you, guyz! I am so happy that new wheels+tires fit without any modding, but that came with a side effect: spare does not fit! Looks like 2010 facelift changed dimensions of spare tire space under the trunk just a little bit, just enough so bigger tire 265/65-R18 or 265/70-R17 does not fit anym...

Re: Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

Done! Thank you all for your inputs, I've gone through a lot of investigation, found a dozen of owners with these and that tires, talked to them, compared results and at the end it cut down to what's awailable on the marked and what in my pocket. Cooper Discoverer A/T3 Sport 2 That's the rubber I pu...

Re: Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

Well, after taking a lot into consideration, I decided to go with Kenda Klever R/T KR601 Size: LT265/65R18 Load Range: E Index: 122/119 Speed Rating: R Overall Diameter: 31.77 Section Width: 10.79 Max Load: 3305/3000 PSI: 80 Tread Depth (32nds): 17 Rim Width (In.): 8 Rim Width (Min): 7.5 Rim Width (...

Re: Steering wheel controlls not working

@TooMuchControl, thank you. Well, I've scanned a dozen of TCs, and deleted all of them, as I do not know what's fresh and what not. Actually, this made me mad, angry on myself - how could I be so reckless not to check those prior to buying?!!! At least I could deal for better price. Emmm.... might i...

Re: Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

...So I would not take a tire near its speed rating at least not routinely unless is near-new and by exception. That's exactly what bothers me most. Finally I found a tire which meets all my expectations... EXCEPT speed rating. So there's some thinking ahead - will I comply with speed limits, ease ...
