nuts?!? no man, it's WAY nicer and cleaner. Just remove 2 or 3 screws in the lower cover, squeeze the clips on the old switch, remove and push the new one it. Super clean and easy. No wires, relays, fuses, nothing.
Did you check all the fuses in all the fuse panels? (interior glove box, IPDM, and infront of IPDM). Sub harness from frame fail to pig-tail ok? If I recall, only the 7 pin has the additional harness in the right kick panel.
There is no other end....The truck itself is prewired for fogs weither you got them or not on any trim level....plug in the switch and the lights and it'll work! Just swap out your original switch for the stitch that has fog light on it (from and SE/LE), and you're done!
left and right light asmb. Wiring pre-exists. Taped up with grey tape. And the replacement switch - just replace the old with the new, that comes from the same model with fogs....DONE!
I GUARANTEE they didn't line up the left cam VDC spocket correctly, damaged the pin/dowel and the cam. Once the hole is f'd, you need a cam. If the cam actually snapped (which is very possible), they also need to send the head out. The new policy as of a couple months ago is no long blocks unless ap...
tough to say without being there. The tensioner should move just a bit when the load comes on. Look an the runs of belt between pulley's, excessive "flapping" causes a noise. if you can safely do it, you might be able to play with the tension on the tensioner using the 3/8 drive on the ten...
Yeah, there's a service procedure sent to dealers which is more or less, spraying brake cleaner/maf cleaner/electrical contact cleaner for i think 10 seconds the first time (car off). cycle a couple times after drying out, then 20-30s spray. Also make sure the charge and compressor oil is where it s...
you can do it....it's a tremendous pain in the butt. Some pulleys have a shallow allen or torx bolt....all have loctite....the belt wont hold the pulley, so you'll either need the special tool to hold it, or block it with a bar or something. The shims are also select thickness. DO NOT lose them. Are...
