They have an older version without the little side room and an 8x8 footprint, too. I'm willing to bet those are the $90 ones. This one was considerably more.

You need another tire shop, mate. Anyone tire guy with a measuring tape and the specs on the tire can figure out if it fits or not.

I noticed a bit of vapor in the headlights of my '07 as well on cold, damp mornings.

You can take the rubber boot off in the back off temporarily for a bit of extra ventilation. The headlights should be vented in the back, as is. Headlights aren't sealed.

We're planning one or two more trips this year and I want to run heat in October. If I don't gas myself I'll let you know how that went. I'm not sure if I'd call this an all season tent, though. It will keep the elements out, but there are too many vented pockets to seal it up for a blustery late-fa...

Interesting. What tire/rim combo is that? Those look almost like OZ racing rally rims.

Hatch tent camping!

One of the reasons the wife and I got the pathy, is to do a bit more camping. I used to be an avid camper and before I moved to Canada I used to take a trip to France or Spain at least once a year. We have a very nice tent. Problem is, that I had a motorcycle accident some years ago, and I broke my ...

Stunning shots again, Pawel! I'll join in. Took the Pathfinder on it's first camp trip last weekend. My wife refused to pose nude, unfortunately. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1941468/picdump/pathfinder/IMG_3654.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1941468/picdump/pathfinder/IMG_3667.jpg

Don't do it with a hot engine. Many parts don't really take kindly to the rapid temp change of cold water.

Cold engine, squirt in a bottle or two of Simple Green Max, give it a scrub with a $1 toilet brush if it's really disgusting, then hose off.
Avoid electrical plugs if you can.

I can't see any deformations or cracks, so that seems totally fixable. The deep scratches can be smoothed out. Repaint, done. A brand new bumper would need to be painted as wel and runs in at about $150 and then include labor and parts (new clips and a bolt or two) to unmount and re-mount. A decent ...

Mine seem rock solid compared to the amount of play you have. I just got mine back from a major service and they have been checked on mine.

It's like driving over rumble strips, right? Yeah, I had the exact same issue. Only at very specific speed/rev pairing and only between 60 and 70 km/h. It's a little cliche to ask, but have you checked for the coolant transmission contaminants? Look up my topics. I ended up having my transmission re...

So, considering that I apparently already have a module in the car for auto-up, is there a way to program the OEM key fob? The aftermarket one is garbage!

Alright, lol. I am fairly sure a converted power source from a Tesla would work as well. But I'm not entirely sure if either of these are practical compared to running a quiet generator.

Windows auto up/down

I got my pathfinder with 2 remotes. One factory and one aftermarket. I found out that with the OEM one I can roll my windows down automagically, but not back up. With the aftermarket one, I can roll them up, but not down. What is the OEM behaviour supposed to be? Is there supposed to be an auto roll...
