Yep the radio is made by clarion and looks exactly like that. (The amp/nav unit is Bose)
The large plug on the bottom of your photo below the black patch is the plug you need to patch into the SOT lead

If you have pictures already that would be great, but no need to go take some just for me to see where you mounted your setup. I did have a few more questions. Does the sat nav voice over still work while using the parrot to listen to music? also I was thinking if I have to have an additional scree...

Kael2001, did you ever get pics of the final install? I'm wanting to do this to mine but I'm not sure if I have the Bose stereo. If I don't I'm wondering if this set up will still work. I have a 2007 Aventura with nav and Bluetooth. Wanting to remain stock as possible in appearance. Does this allow...

The fans are probably stuck in fail safe mode. The rear unit has its own VBC in the back behind the right hand boot panel.

The fans will usually run hot for a few seconds to begin with until the system has time to cool the air, with the AC on in auto mode this will obviously be faster

I'm sure it is possible, but with a lot of work. The loom is the same so with xenon you will have spare connectors for the halogen units.
But why would you want to swap out HID bulbs for halogen? It's pretty much a substantial downgrade?

Unfortunately they have to be coded to the truck, not necessarily by the dealer but by a pro with the right software

If you look closely the centre of the bar is actually a cap that pulls out so you can insert the key

The clips are easy to undo and cheap to replace if you do break any.
You just use a flat head screwdriver to pop the middle bit up, then holding it up, pull the hole thing out.

The cable might have come out of its clip on the handle, or may have stretched. If you take off the back door trim (undo all the screws on the underside and clips along the bottom visible, there's one by the first aid kit as well I think) The lock, cables and handle should be visible, or if not then...

I think the 2008 still had the self diagnosis mode built in.. Try going to the 'secret' stereo menu by pressing and holding the Setting button then rotating the volume knob till the menu pops up (usually 40 clicks just go crazy lol) It should then have an option for confirmation/adjustment. Click on...

On Spanish and Thai built versions there is an air relief plug at the top of the engine to avoid having to burp the coolant. It's almost always on the passenger side, so LHD by the coolant reservoir and brake resevoir and on RHD by the air intake hose. http://i1305.photobucket.com/albums/s560/kael20...

You could just buy headlight adapters for UK cars. The only other way would be to buy European headlights and swap them over when needed

TBH you could just repin new connectors to fit. Just buy some 5 & 2 pin female and male connectors, take out the wires from the old connectors, and re crimp them into the new one. It shouldnt take more than half an hour and is as simple as matching which wire goes to which wire. Depending on whe...
