My hope is that someone can point me in the direction of the least expensive OE distributor that won't kick a code. What surprises me is that one can't use the coil from the vg30. Do you know of anyone that has tried that?

I have found that my vin # has discrepancies with the engine code. Vin tag says it's a vg30d. Anyone else. Needing a coil or distributor and having a hard time finding one at a decent price. One thing you might check is the ecm temp sender. I have found that when it goes out or is not working properly that it tells the ecm that the engine is cold when it is isn't and it will add fuel for cold stating.
