Just a question like that: when did you change your transfer case oil ?? if the answer is <never>, I would try that first.... dirty old fluid can cause problems . It's cheap and takes about an hour to do.

Sorry to hear buddy...but I was pretty sure it was that... Hopefully your engine will not be permanently damaged...make sure to check if oil consumption rises from then on... I don't know if it's because you forgot to write it or not, but you absolutely need to locktite these screws or else they wil...

This is a common issue for the r50....Just buy a can of silicon lubricant and spray deliberatly in the windows channel. You do not need to dismantle anything.

Still, if i were you I would definitely take the time to see if all of the power valve plates are still there (yep, one user on another forum had 2 plates completely fall in the cylinders) with all the screws.... this is a 4-5 hours job for a non mechanically incline person or about 2 hours for a ni...

many others have done the same thing as what you are bout to do for the exact same reasons. It will not rub. It will put your pathy .5" higher and you will still have plenty of space left between your mudflaps and the tire. It brings your total tire size from 29" to 30"... It WILL do ...

2004 has a noticeable bump/click on every slght bump in the road, this only started six months ago. I changed the inner sway bar bushings which were very worn, and if anything the noise got worse. Your coils are shot...
