Timing Chain Replacement

Per my owners manual I am approaching the time where I may need to change my timing chains. As this interval approaches I have a few questions; 1) The manual says to replace at 120,000 miles. Should I heed this suggestion and replace @ 120,000? 2) Is there some signs I should be looking/listening ou...

Update

Installed the new 275/70/r17s shoes on the pathy at a family friends recently. They look awesome and have yet to have any issues with rub. I haven't taken it into to many sticky situations either but we have had a bunch of rain down here in Alabama and she has handled beautifully on and off the road...

Thanks!

Thanks for the help! I will certainly look into the IM Spacer and see what its all about. I have looked at some chips but I cant seem to get over some of the negative reviews associated with them. Do you have a recommendation for a chip that does what it advertises?

Throttle Body Spacer??

I have searched and searched on here for something on this topic. There are lot of blogs both negative and positive and, from what I gather, it depends on the vehicle. Has anyone added a throttle body spacer to their R51? Specifically the 2012? I have a CAI and love it but I am looking to increase H...

Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. They should fit fine in the rear. May give it a different stance if I have to lift the front too much but I might like that... We will see. Is there a lift/ adjustable lift that is preferred over others for the front? I will have it taken to the shop and have the speedometer a...

Key Fob

You could start by rooting for another team. Key fob probably doesn't want to work for a Gator fan. haha. But seriously, I had the same issue and ultimately ditched the fob altogether and just manually unlock it with my key. (May of may not have also destroyed the fob trying to fix it  ) Anyw...

V6 may be sufficient

I recently towed a large trailer loaded down around 3000lbs. Had the factory suspension and paid dearly for it. Had to keep it around 60 on the interstate to prevent death wobble. Have since ordered moog coils and blistein 5100s. I have been reading on here that that solves most suspension issues on...

Leveling Kit Question

The time has come for some new tires. I have done some extensive research and decided to go with 285/70/r17 Yokohama Geolanders due to the fact that I have to take longer road trips for work and have to be able to get through some rough terrain and mud holes to get to work sites. The Yokohama's seem...

Cold Air Intake Experience

I was starting to lose a little bit of my girls performance. I was getting a measly 16.3 mpg on the hwy and that's just no Bueno for me as I take a lot of trips back and forth between Kentucky and Alabama. That's when I found you people. This forum has provided me with a wealth of know how and I tha...
