Hm, that's a new one for me. I just went out to the parking lot and played around with it. It appears that the blower feeds all 4 vents, so if I have 3 of them closed the air force out the last one is quite substantial, and if I have that vent in the, say roughly, 66% closed range, it'll snap closed...

Ha ha! Fantastic! :D

Can you give us some details on those rims and tires?

While I love the arc of mud splatters on the front doors, how many rock chips did you pick up on the rocker panels? Did you consider leaving the side-steps on to protect them?

The height with just 5 to 10 psi in the air bags is not any different. In fact even with 35 psi it only goes up maybe an inch. From a driving feel perspective, it's GREAT at 35psi. The rear end doesn't wollow around when you change lanes on the freeway and stuff, really helps tighten up the steering...

Running the forum on a new account.

I moved the whole forum over to a new account on our server, so we are no longer running as subfolder on one of my other sites with a cloaked DNS entry. Hopefully this will make things work a bit better, clearing up some minor weirdnesses I saw happening, but if anybody sees any problems after this ...

I just posted some pics of the spare connectors behind the VDC panel. There are 3 extras, hopefull two for heated seats and one for the HDC. Now if somebody with the OR edition can open theirs up and show us exactly how it looks back there...anyone? Maybe I'll go to the dealer and "test drive&q...

Nifty autoleveling air springs would be swank, but since I actually will take this beast off-road I would worry about the durability of the air springs in such extreme conditions. Would REALLY suck to be in the middle of the desert and have one of those things fail on me. I did a little more work on...

It's probably just tapping the ebrake signal wire, senseing when it's on. Attaching that to a continuous +12 wire should cure that bit of silliness

Heh, great, considering how the spoiler is below the rack cross bars I bet the Yakima rack (which I do intend to get at some point) will cut another 2 MPG off

Towing big with the Path

One of the primary reasons I upgraded from my Murano to the Pathfinder was the added towing capacity. I tow my race car, I tow other cars, I even once helped a friend drag a huge water tank off his property. The Pathfinder not only comes from the factory with a sturdy integrated reciever hitch, it's...

Spoiling for a Spoiler

I love my Pathfinder, but I gotta be honest, it's a box. First off I did the grill guard up front, and now to balance things I've installed a spoiler on the rear hatch rim. Picked up from 4x4parts.com , it isn't too crazy big, and has a nice downward curve on the underside of the wing to force air o...

Wow!

That looks simply fantastic. Was the hole in the dash a proper double-din so the new HU just slid right in? Did you do any other upgrades to the sound system while you were at it?
