i could have sworn it was in this thread, but i guess not. so i had gotten those camber adjustment bolts for the rear because i read somewhere that after like 2007 the rear did not come with adj cam bolts. well i should have looked. either the 2008 LE v8 does come with them, or someone else put them...

Their description is CRAP, but the springs are awesome, two thumbs up, can't wait to get some driving time in to feel how the rear end sways and tracks with the front now: https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-rear-lift-coils-p-5637.html Lastly, do NOT expect to do this job with a spring compr...

Here's the front struts in a mid-state of disassembly. One pita was just getting the lower bolt undone to get it off the truck. Air tools didn't even help, it took dual breaker bars plus another couple feet of pipe to extend the breaker bar handle. Nissan Spec says 155ft-lbs, yikes, that's a bolt! ...

so yeah, i'm totally happy with the 12mil roller. it retracts with ease unlike the 6mil. it also seems less prone to ripping/tearing like the thinner one. it still does sag just a little, but 80mph with windows 1/2 down and sunroof open and it barely bubbles up. plus it covers the cargo are more com...

very excite!!! /borat going to a buddys house on monday so he can help me with at least the front (and he has a more suitable jack than i do). he has a frontier and has changed the fronts struts already. he did say that we'll have to compress the front springs quite a bit to get the 2in lift out of ...

nah i'm not going to try that route. that's -too- much effort for me :) i did buy the 12mil roller shade (as opposed to the 6mil) and as it should being 2x as thick it feels alot more sturdy. i think the spring/winding mechanism feels a little more rugged too. there is a difference in price, the 6mi...

yeah i picked up one. i got one for a 05-12 xterra, and i don't know that it's long enough to make the catch at the end. i mean maybe, but it would be fully stretched, no wiggle room. second i think that bar has to be solid metal, which would make it 'fun' trying to cut down. as for the gap between ...

The side mounts on the Pathfinder are recessed a bit. I haven't popped the cover off one in some time, so I can't remember exactly what it looks like. I do remember that there is an even deeper square recess in the center of the mount recess. I'm hoping there will be a hole for a bolt, because then...

Deluxe Suspension Package from 4x4parts

went to the casino last night for my bday and walked out with $1k. so that means i can go ahead and get my suspension upgrade done! anyone gotten this package? seems like it's an ok deal for the price ($440 + 60 shipping)? https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/deluxe-suspension-package-p-5843.html 2x fron...

I'd love to just dremel out those mounts from the X, but I think the girlfriend would be slightly pissed. If/when I tackle this, I think I'll shape a chunk of wood into the exact shape of the Xterra mount, then shape the other side to fit into the mounting location on the Pathfinder. Paint the resu...

excellent pics and info nvsteve! my biggest thing was if it would make it all the way to the back. definitely going to pick up a cover next week and start tinkering. so it looks like we could just take a -large- dowel to shove in the holes in the path, then route a notch and hole in it to mimmick th...

Vinyl may not be the best material choice for this application... Though I'm unsure as to what else you can get off the shelf... Not sure on the X option, but it would make sense that its shorter. Crappy that this didn't work out... t well the vinyl itself isn't all -that- bad. it's really just the...

Re: DIY cargo cover

Interesting approach & not bad at all. I was planning on doing the same, but using an actual cargo cover from an Xterra and fabricating mounts for it. Just haven't found the time and/or desire to do it yet. so here's a question...after glancing at the xterra cargo cover online, it doesn't look ...
