wellll, might have a problem.

woo, actually just found in the manual online and it's supposed to cover seals. now i just need to get it to leak a little....

sucks because if the mechanic would have just left it, then i would have had nissan do the front and saved a little $

i recently had my front & rear diff and xfer case fluids changed (since i'm still under an ext warr i wanted to have proof they were changed instead of just me doing it).

before that whenever it was rainy/slick i would turn traction off, put it in auto and ...

yeah, but then i'd have to -remember- to open the glass first. i'm not real good at remembering things (like turning my amp off because the remote lead is switched off the battery since i forgot to grab the remote lead off the factory sub)...

does the xterra cover fit in those factory 'holes' that ...

i've done this test a few times now.

can't remember when the low fuel lights comes on exactly, but i want to say 30-40 miles left?

then after 18 miles left it goes to ---

i fill up then and put in about 18-18.5 gallons in. so that would be about 2 gallons left @ 14mpg city, or ~30 city miles left ...

imo-

35 cold when regular driving.

if you're going to be towing and/or carrying -alot- of weight in the cargo area then 40 cold in the back.

at least that was the recommendation from uhaul when towing, and i already put more air in the back when loaded down.

anyway, so i'm also wanting to do the 2in spacer for the rear. my question is, for those that have done it, did you also change the shock that's back there at the same time? did you go with a slightly longer shock since i was assuming the spacer adds just a little bit more required travel length in ...

humm, those deleted running boards do look pretty good...

but i use those when putting on/off my snowboard boots so i don't get crap inside the car.....dang it, what to do, what to do...

i whole heartedly believe in extended warranties if you plan on keeping the vehicle for awhile.

i got my path with 23k on it, and i did the extended warranty until 100k.

previous to that i had one on my acura tl. i think i paid $2300 for the warranty, and after a transmission rebuild, cv joints ...

well, it's just more of a precaution thing i guess.

like i said before i grew up on a mustang. that's how i learned how to control a fish tail. i got pretty good at it too. :P and if you spun out it wasn't a big deal, not like you'd flip or something. but that's a car, low center/etc.

yeah sorry, 4hi drifting....and i dunno about straight 2wd drifting in the snow. the butt end whips around a little too quickly for my taste in that high profile of a vehicle
