tagging this because i'm interested in this as well. especially after i do the 2in lift and get a little bigger tires. for the engine that we have i feel it's being way underpowered or something. i mean our engine pulls the armada/titan, so with our smaller frames and lower weight we should be killi...

heh, yeah like an audi all-road. that's it. i do love some 4x4 -traction drifting in the snow though. when it's dry i rarely take it out of 2wd unless i'm leaving a store/gas station and i need to have a quick takeoff while turning, then i'll switch it for the launch, but then back to 2wd. when it's...

just did mine as well. it's a typical brake change, no overly funky springs or weird things to do. the caliper 'float' bolts are easy as pie. almost no effort (kinda concerned me at first, but the other 3 calipers are the same). for the front caliper holders....jeeeeeeezz those were a pain. even let...

nah, i really don't have any plans for serious offroading. i would like to get it in some mud for fun, maybe try to climb some pathed/easy trails. and if it does get to that point maybe i'd rerun them so they ended up in the jack holder area inside the vehicle :) funny thing about the white. i still...

the biggest thing i can say is make sure you load the trailer properly!! and not just front to back load, side to side as well. last year we moved my gma from georgia to texas to live with my mom. 1st trip we had one of the smaller 5x8's i think? it's the 'middle' sized enclosed one that has 1 axle....

here's my take on the "what does it do with my driving style" after driving and experimenting the pathy for about a year and a half. while my terms or descriptions of what's happening might not be exactly accurate, this is what the truck FEELS like it's doing to me. i in no way recommend/a...

jeeez. you'd think i'd learn. for some reason i thought the 14mm/17mm caliper bolts that are used for the rear would be used in the front. wrong. 14 and 19mm. and the 3/4in equivalent is too loose on the bolt and i don't want to strip it. since my car is apart i'm waitin on a buddy to come take me t...

here's some pics! it took me quite awhile because i was trying to do the airlift and paint the calipers at the same time. and then i couldn't find my breaker bar so i had to go buy another one at the store, and then i got the wrong socket when i got the breaker bar so i had to go back -again-. shees...

I thought about painting my calipers last week when I installed new front brake pads and rotors. I am still thinking about it now that I know how easy it is to get the parts off. Go for it and save yourself the time of tearing things apart again like I am going to end up doing! yeeeeaaahhh, the pro...

so i see on amazon that there's two versions that will fit my '08... #60783 (14in tall) and #60810 (13in tall). the OP used 60810 and in doing a quick rescan of the entire thread i didn't see any list that used the 60783 version. is that 1in a big difference, and/or does it help/hurt/etc? i plan on ...

colorado snow + pathy = stuck heh

went to co for some snowboarding. got like 8 inches of snow over night...thought i could make it out without having to re-snowblow, which i probably could have, but i'm at stock height with stock tires (fronts actually need to be replaced). so at the end of the driveway of my buddy's cabin there's a...

i most definitely put a fuse within 1 ft of the battery terminal. this isn't my first time to the rodeo. :) i put in an 80 amp (probably could have done 60 though) based on the amp having 2x40amp fuses, and the inverter having 1x40amp fuse. wanted to leave a little headroom just in case both are pul...
