Thanks for the info. Next question, when I look for a used unit, what parts do i need to look for? The list I can think of is:

The screen/monitor
DVD player
Supporting wires from screen to dvd player

Not sure what else.

Ok. I didn't know that. Did you splice in from the rear? Also if you don't want to listen through the car speakers, can you still use the headphones?

Thanks. I've seen that thread, but I can't seem to find if he had the same bose head unit. I was thinking of going aftermarket as well. How has the audiovox unit held up? Anything you would do different?

Entertainment system

Hey all,

I have an 08 LE with Navigation, sat radio, back up camera, basically everything but the rear entertainment center. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can install an OEM entertainment center? If so, anyone know where to pick up a used system? Thanks.

I don't see the problem using a little dielectric grease.

Thanks for all the information. I don't tow a bunch, but when and if I do, I'll probably look into this. Looks like a nice setup.

Goodyear Wrangler® SilentArmor. You will love these tires. They were on my jeep until I lifted it, and bought some used bigger tires, but when I guy again, I will buy these. They did great in all weather and mud/snow.

Those look good. You could always just trim down the lip of the mudflap and keep them.

However the wheels and tires look good.

Agreed. My 1999 Jeep grand cherokee is able to turn the dimmer switch and turn all the lights on why can't my 2008 pathfinder do that. I'd be intrested in some kind of switch.

I'll have to watch for those pictures. I have a grey color pathfinder and the same chrome grill. I'll be looking into doing something probably this fall to it.

Less chrome is better for any kind of dirt/off road. Dirt is Chrome's worst enemy. Very easy to chip/scratch/swirl.
