Just finished the same setup on our '08 V6. Ours had just turned 100K and I was sick of the poor quality of the stock setup. We ended up also doing new sway bar bushings and strut mounts, but ride is definitely improved and the vehicle feels a lot more composed. Also noticed a mild ride height, mayb...

Thanks docwatson. So if you used the Bilsteins in the front, what coils would you have gone with to help level the height?

Anyone else have experience with other products?

Am I foolish to not simply consider the 2" rancho lift all around?

Any shock/coil/strut combo provide very mild lift?

I'm going to be swapping out front & rear suspension on our R51 as I can't stand the rear and with 100K miles, it's time to give her some love. We live in Denver, and tend to do long road trips on the highway then several miles off road to get to trailheads. I'm wondering if instead of going the...

Thanks smj...if I'm paying a shop for the labor, does it not make sense to also have bushings etc done pro-actively considering it will save me on labor (vs them going back in on a 2nd job) while they're replacing shocks?

What is the rough cost of a suspension job?

I'm getting near 100K on my Pathfinder and deciding what to do with it (keep it, or get something newer). There are several items I'm going to have to replace if I keep it, and one of them is the suspension. I've never owned a car where I've been through this process, so I'm looking for guidance on ...

Import Mechanics in the Golden Triangle neighborhood...13th & Elati.

They have been awesome over the past 18 months as a lot of little things have come up here & there and they are very honest, fast, and don't try to nickel & dime me.

A lot of members have had luck with airbags and different suspension, do a search and you'll see a good amount of threads addressing this same issue. Over about a dozen cars, I've never owned anything with this unsettled of a back end. I also have an '08 and am not happy with the way this thing rides.

I'm bumping this to see if anyone else has any thoughts. With spring arriving I want to make sure this problem goes away.

I've checked my sunroof drains, they are completely clear and drain very well.

Any other ideas?

Pathless, the steering started making some very rough sound and you could feel friction when you went turn-to-turn with the wheel. Once up to speed, the friction became much less noticeable but the noise was there even moving the wheel in the slightest way.

We just had the steering column replaced on our '08 with 75K. Bought the car almost a year ago from Carmax and I sprung for an extended warranty for $1500 for 3yrs. Between the steering column, tie rod end and alignment, I've already made $900 of my $1500 back. Still, I've never had steering column ...

Mold smell near windows

'08 Pathfinder V6...this summer I've noticed a mold smell when the windows are opened up. It is not coming from the vents (neither the AC/Heat cause it). Doesn't smell much when I get in the car either, only once I roll down the windows do I smell it. I've checked all seals on the windows, even wash...

Replacing pads...quick help appreciated

Changing out my pads and working to get the calipers off...I thought there were only 2 bolts to undo, but do I remove the one shown on this photo as well?

There is also a code p0443, which looks like Nissan has a TSB for.
