Code p1815?

My '08 just started throwing this code...anyone know specifically what it relates to? All I could find was something to do with the 4WD switch.

The first is the driver's front, then it goes clockwise around the vehicle.

Has anyone broken that clip that keeps the filter cover in place? I was changing out my filters yesterday, and cracked the tab so now my cover falls off. I know there is also supposed to be a bolt to secure the cover, but there isn't on mine so if anyone knows the size of that please let me know.

Denver mechanics?

I picked up an '08 SE a couple weeks ago and will be taking it on a roughly 1,000 mile trip in June and want to find a shop I could trust that will do a thorough exam on the truck and let me know what they see.

Anyone have any recommendations for shops in Denver? Doesn't have to be a dealer.

Did you run the larger tires before you got your lift? If so, was there any rubbing or impact on articulation?

Going from 265/65/17 to 265/70/17

I have a stock '08 V6SE. It looks like going up to that size will get me a tire about 1" great diameter.
For those who have made such a switch, any issues with rubbing? What impact if any have you seen on mpg? Any other issues?

Greetings from another Denverite, just picked my '08 up last week. The seats do fold flat, just takes an extra step of flipping up lower cushion and removing headrests.

Peeling paint

Just bought a 2008 SE last week and wasn't until cleaning it today that I noticed that in the rain channels/gutters on each side the paint has peeled. What can I do to prevent this damage from getting worse?

After more research I've ruled out the Yokos and the Grabbers, but to add another option to the table I'm also considering the Hankook Dynapro ATM which seem well regarded, anyone like those?

I'm not considering the BFGs...I know they are a well regarded tire but my brother had them on his Xterra for 3 years and they got downright scary in rain/slush.

NVSteve, what did you like about the Revo? Did they do well in snow? Any sense of how they compare against the Silent Armors?

Thanks; did you run the SA before going to Duratrac? What would you say are their strengths/weaknesses?

Colorado tire choice

For all of you CO folks, what tires are you running on your Pathfinders? I just picked up an '08 that I plan on tweaking a bit before the summer starts. As this is a daily driver, I'm looking for a tire that performs well around town and on highway, but also works for weekend duty on light trails su...

Thanks Sunpro.
Jman, I'll be tackling the removal this Saturday and would consider selling them, not sure what shipping would be for the odd size but I can look into that this weekend as well.

Removing side window vent visors?

Hi all-
Purchased a 2008 SE recently and it has those in-channel vent visors / air deflectors on the side windows and I want them off. Has anyone ever removed them and can walk me through the process? Do I need to remove the rubber weather-stripping to take these off?

Thanks in advance-
