Assuming you are checking with the engine running and using correct scale (HOT or COLD). What color is the ATF fluid ... it should be pinkish and not brown.
Sounds like transmission to me if you can connect it to gears changing. Check your ATF fluid if it is not pink I would change it. I use RedLine ATF D4 (it is compatible with Nissan D Matic) and from my experience it works perfectly. You can probably use something else that you can find in your local...
Any chance that this is coming from brakes? I had similar issue when my mechanic put a cheap brake pads - they were dusting like crazy and sometimes would have a grinding noise when braking. Bought ceramic pads and no issues. If it is brake related I would also check your rotors. Take a look at the ...
I've been running Old Man Emu (shocks and springs all around) and have been very happy with it. Especially in the rear they are day and night - original springs were so soft and rear would sag badly with any weight in the trunk.

Had the same issue - rusted heat shield. Went to Home Depot, bought a couple of pipe clamps, used them to replace the rusted ones and the issue has been fixed.

I think there are 4 of them. 2 of them are kind of inside engine compartment and are hard to get to and I didn't change them. For $500 I would give it a try. The other 2 are right under the truck plugged ...

It has been very well maintained since I’ve got it used with 16K miles on it. For the last couple of months I’ve been trying to figure out what’s going on. Sometim...
