Well, round and round I go on this stupid fan clutch. And this stupid serpentine belt and tensioner too. The damn thing has been squealing away so long now I'm just used to it but it drives the miss's crazy cause she can hear that high pitched whine. I have since the last post a couple months ago re...

This fan clutch is a PITA!!!

Ok. So I'm at 121K miles with an 05 Pathfinder. Replaced the original fan clutch two years ago with an autozone version because the original was locked all the time making the vehicle very loud and annoying not to mention robbing horsepower and gas mileage. Sounded basically like a B17 immediately a...

Seems to me you bought this from a saleman and there are warranties are there not with used car purchase? Nobody mentioned it but I should think you could have issue with them on this but now that you flushed the snotty fluid all out I say what can you say??? But you should check see what warranty y...

Has anyone had problems doing a fuel treatment to a high mileage pathfinder like say 95K miles causing problems in the injectors due to the stuff in the fuel filter dissolving and going through the system? I have a po174 code going on. Used a dose of Lucas Fuel Treatment attempting to cure it and it...

Stupid question but????

My 05 pathfinder fan runs all the time from startup to shut down and no in between. Its loud as can be and my mileage is seeming to be low at about 15mpg typical. Do all of these just do that or is my fan clutch stuck in engaged mode? I am thinking it must be stuck cause otherwise it would stop spin...

P0174 lean bank 2 code any advice?

Anyone else have this problem code and subsequent shuddering while idling or driving? Curious what you found to be the fix? I found no air leaks. I cleaned my MAF sensor. Cleaned my PCV valve. No exhaust leaks. Thanks

05 Pathfinder issues please advise code P0174 lean bank 2

I'm kind of frazzled here. 05 Pathfinder has check engine light with 96K miles. Been on for a few weeks now. I've been fooling around trying to sort it without success. Had local auto parts store scan it when I first got the light to see what the hell.... PO174 Lean condition bank 2 which is the dri...

Sorry to hear that buddy..... did you ever do the bypass? yep had the bypass done 10k miles ago, but i guess damage was already done. How is it possible that you have coolant in your tranny if you did the bypass?????????? The two are no longer intermingled at that point in time as far as I know.......
