I usually just replace my car batteries every four years no matter what. For some reason I forgot about it in my Eclipse. Over 6 years :shock: :lol: One day I took a 160 mile round trip. I wasn't aware I was just running on the alternator :? It got me home, thank God :lol: It was a Kirkland battery ...

I have a hitch mount for bikes, but that's different since there is no snow/salt/crap on the roads when I use it. I just got one. Nope, it's fairly easy. All you need to do is stand on the rear tire and you can reach everything. My friend who has a GMC Yukon Denali also has a Thule cargo box 1600, and we don't have any problems reaching for our gear either. If you have longer skis, you may want to go with the Skybox 18 or 21. Both are 92" long, but the 21 is 2" higher.
