You are mistaken. It has coil springs and shocks in the rear. No leaf springs.

Cerimic brake pads

I have used Wagner's thermoquiets with much success. Low dust, good braking and quiet ;)

Thanks SMJ. Didn't know it was so simple. My mechanic said he would do it for $150 because it involved drilling out some suspension part.

Now that I know, I will just order the bolts, put them in myself and get an alignment.

Camber Adjustment bolts

Guys,
Have any one of you installed camber adjustment bolts to the R50 Pathfindders? I have a 2001 and there is significant amount of camber in my wheel and it is causing improper wear on my tires.

If any one of you have done it, could you please advise on procedure?

Thanks,
Julian

Rotor resurfacing

Most auto parts store don't just resurface captive rotors. They have to be turned on-car. The hole in the center is too large for any of their cones.

I have tried many auto parts stores. It was cheaper to replace the rotors than turn them on the car since labor is free (my own time).

My R50 ball joints had to be changed at 60K miles (10 year old). But I don't have the upper control arm.

Airlift 1000 installed

AIG, Thanks for the detailed writeup. Shortly after starting the thread and not receiving any responses, I decided to take the plunge and install it anyway. I did drill out the bumper pad to the recommended 3/4" when I installed it and used the original air lines. I plumbed it with one valve fo...

AirLift 1000 on a 2001-R50?

Has anyone done a Airlift 1000 install on a 2001 Path (R50 body style)?

If you have, does it involve removing the springs and drilling a hole for the piping or can the hole for the bump stops be used?

Thanks!
