Just an update... Don’t make your mechanic miserable - don’t just buy the front struts. Get the whole assembly or at least all the new parts. I had to buy new spring seats... which do not fit properly - drove with new struts around clunking for days... all good now. I should have bought the enti...

No front air coming out?

I turn on the air and it blows in the rear fine. Nothing from the front. AC seems to turn on fine you hear that click. I am pretty sure cold air would come out from the back. This happened out of the blue - no blower noise or nothing... I did have some clunky suspension issues lately so a wire maybe...

Good advice... I got tow a whole bunch of stuff last year and had the airlift installed years ago. Regularly I keep them at about 15psi.
Towing I pushed them up to 30. Maybe excessive...

Bilstein was no help - I asked for data sheets or a summary of differences between RWD and 4WD shocks/struts and here's their response: I’d be happy to assist you. These are the part #’s you want to use on your 2009 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4wd (4X4). 24-197427 & 24-197434. RWD is just that, onl...

Which is not what I ordered... Dang it! Thx Underworld.
The only real difference i see is the eye diameter on them. I got 14mm and the ones you have are 14.1mm.
I reached out to Bilstein USA.

Which Pathfinder do I have???

I have a 2009 Pathfinder SE. Is it Rwd or 4wd? I know I can make it go to 4x4 if I switch the dial. Or 4x4 low. By default it has power only in the rear wheels. Reason being is that I am upgrading my shocks and struts (just passed 150k miles) - bilstein has different ones for RWD and 4WD. Thanks a m...

Would you tow this?

I have a 2009 PF SE
I would like to tow a tractor to my farm that weighs 6878 pounds. It’s a 2wd MF 178. Driving it for 6 hours - 99.9% on the highway through the Rockies.

The flatbed trailer could be another 500lb or so..

With a lot of care - can it be done?

SMJ,

Thank you! I looked at the costs and decided that it is cheaper to pay Napa Autopro $70CDN and they made it all work. Not sure why the first TPMS malfunctioned... But it is working now.

Thank you!

TPMS Reset

Hi, A week ago one of the tire pressures was not displaying on screen. Went to costco to change it but they would not saying all 4 TPMS units are working - they had a wireless tool that they take close to each tire and sure enough there was a read on each... Did the TPMS reset with a piece of wire (...
