I am a big fan of Nissans and I have owned 9 so far......all over 100,000 miles and 4 over 150K and 2 over 200K. I agree that Nissan is having too many issues lately...but so has everyone else. Since 2001 when the economy took a crap......all companies are looking for cheaper ways to build the vehic...

Wen then system is off you will get airflow from fresh outdoor air. Since it is cold outside you are getting cold outside air. If you don't want the airflow you need to take it off outside air and put it on Recirculate. The fact that the air conditioning is on is completely normal. In the winter car...

Today I went snowboarding with an old friend that happens to have a 2005 SE with the same system. We had to drive 2 hours and both of us were constantly going from 60(too cold) to 65(way to hot) His does the exact same thing. This is the worst heating/cooling system I have seen come out of Nissan. I...

Can anyone verify if their Auto air/heat work this way...

I have a 2005 LE with Auto Heat/Air. I never use the Auto settting. It is very cold here in Michigan so I normally keep it on Defrost/Floor mode. I notice that I still am getting quite a bit of air coming out of the vents. I know I can shut off the outside ones manually but not the middle ones . I c...

They must be for heat. Today I tried to run my rear heat and I discovered....no heat. How does the rear heat work? I thought if I had leaking lines I would be out of coolant up front too. I have the proper amount of coolant up front and no signs of leaking on the garage floor. Any other suggestions?

I just got off the phone with Sierra at Air Lift. She is telling me there should not be a difference on the two forms. I qualify for the $25 rebate and only have to purchase the Air Lift 1000. She did track my rebate and says that it is in process and they are just waiting for me to send in the UPC....

I already placed my order with Amazon(cheapest I have found) I went to Air Lift's website and started the rebate process. You can get the process going faster by doing their online registration. The last step online you will have to print out a form and send it in with your UPC. It is supposed to ta...

Now I am starting to think they are heater lines since I have read of other people having similar issues. I never have passengers so I might just have them capped off.

All you need is a small flat head screwdriver. I just did mine on Saturday and it was super easy. I would recomment having another person hold up the hatch. I did not have someone so I had to use a pole.... It should take 5-10 minutes with someone holding the door. Pull the tab out a little with the...

F/S: 2002 Pathfinder SE 4x4 Lots of nice upgrades

I bought a 2005 so I need to sell the 2002. It is a great vehicle and I still love it so much. It has the Bose and Moonroof Package so it is not the base unit. I have plenty of pictures. I have it listed on several sites, so let me know if you want the links. It has 126,000 miles on it and has NO AC...

I would still take it back to a Nissan dealership and make them fix it. It is Nissan's fault they did not take responsibility for this problem sooner. It is not your fault you had to get it fixed before they extended the warranty.

I bought it used from a private party. I busted him out when I asked about the extra trans cooler he had up front. I told him I really was hesitant buying this body style Pathfinder with all of the radiator/transmission issues. He finally fessed up that he had the transmission rebuilt and did a radi...

Bought Used. Does this mean I don't have Heat working?

I was installing my Rear Hatch shocks and Air Lift 1000 today. When the vehicle was lifted I noticed my rear heater lines looked like this.

Does this mean they are leaking and will not work in the spring?
