Any chance we could get a profile shot! The wheels I've been have a little more offset (5 I think)

I tried out the 4wd system a week ago with the same results. Coming from a manual shift truck it was a bit unnerving. I had forgotten to do any research on the subject... So, I guess you're not alone...or at least, we're alone in this together. I tried to get it back down to 2wd while driving under ...

I gotcha. I think I need to get in there and do some investigation lol Last night I didnt feel any major temperature increase when the switch was on low. So, I guess I'm going to probe the connectors and see what kind of resistance I get. Maybe the thermostat is the only thing getting voltage and it...

heated seat - aftermarket replacement?

Just curious if anyone had done any research regarding this? Judging from the electrical diagram its getting a simple 12v from the switch and grounds itself. The only part that has any complications is the thermostat (that presumedly switches the seat from high to low once a certain temp is attained...

Mattress transport was a success! The actual mattresses fit with no real issue. All seats were laid flat and front seats pushed all the way forward. One they were loaded, we were able to put the front seats back to our regular positions without much problem due to the mattresses flexibility. The iss...

Awesome, thanks for the response! I hate hauling things on the roof too. Dont have a lot of experience with it and it seems like everything I try up there rests ever so slightly on the sunroof wind thingy. Gonna try it at lunch, worse comes to worse I'll toss it on the roof and cinch it down with so...

twin mattress hauling

I've done a few searches and have gotten some conflicting dimensions...just thought I'd post and see what I could get directly. I need to haul 2 to 4 twin size mattresses/box springs. Twin size dimensions are 38x75. Obviously the mattress are a little squishy, but the boxes are not. I have an old se...

Weekend discoveries

So its been a chilly weekend in the great state of Missouri. Thought I'd splurge and see how the heated seats operated...much to my surprise the driver's seat bottom wont heat, but the back will. Thankfully, the passenger seat seems to work 100%. Thankfully because 1) that side has the airbag weight...

Hopefully its under warranty! Essentially the glass and the backing plate become separated, I think, allowing for discoloration.

If its not under warranty, its deceptively simple to remove just the glass and replace it.

If the horn works normally (ie: the steering wheel) then I wouldnt think the relay or fuses were the issue. It would come down to the security module or a setting being off. I wonder if there is a difference between the conveinence setting and a more "hard" setting that would be programmed...

My 07 SE does it.

Click unlock once, then again and hold it.

edit: The question might be, do both of your front windows have auto controls? ie: auto up/down? That would be the deciding factor barring someone more smart than me knowing the trim differences for the OR-SE edition

With that many miles, you might look for evidence that any of the standard maintenance work has been done. Spark plugs, dif fluids, transfer case fluid. I would like to thing that the radiator has been taken care of by now...but that might be because mine wasnt and it was an '07 with 65k. Also, to r...

Can always try the Ford trick and shake every harness you can get a hand on easily. Just start the car and give everything a healthy, but no destructive shake.

Its amazing what pops up. Hopefully its nothing to do with fuel pump wiring.
