Is the v8 faster 0-60 than the v6 or is it just geared differently for more towing power?

I just picked up my '07 at the dealer service yesterday. Dropped it off for a shudder in the transmission, in overdrive, at 40mph. The shudder you are speaking of is a programming issue. Back me up here guys but I believe there were prior posts about the 40 mph "bump." They can adjust it ...

The squeaking with my pathy ended up being the hood. I thought it was the sway bushings also. Greased up and no more squeak

Did my bypass about 30,000k ago and still drive like im late for work everywhere I go. Felt my heard drop for this woman when watching the video. Makes me glad I found this site. I drive really hard and tow stuff a lot so those of you with the bypass that are nervous, don't be. I'm sure most of you ...

Thanks for the info I just ordered mine. The little extra travel distance will be a big relief on my head.

I just installed 200 lb struts last night (9416K148). I wouldn't go any bigger than the 200 lb struts. I'm sure I will get used to moving out of the way of the hatch quickly when I open it....which is ten times better than getting hit in the head all winter long. I also had to move some stuff out o...

I had the 225 ones and they were too heavy. Switched to the ~ 205 ones from mcmaster Carr and they are perfect. Had them about a year now. Openspaces: Which part number did you select? I too am intrested in the 200lbs lifts. Unless I read something incorrectly, these 200lb have the same specs as th...

Mine too guys. Idle will shoot up to around 2K then stay at 1100-1200 for about a minute before dipping down to 800. I usually start it then turn the wheel to drop rpms a bit so it doesnt have to shift hard into gear when backing out of my driveway. I don't like waiting a minute and a half to drive ...

I got front drilled and slotted rotors and powerstop pads all around for $90 on ebay a few months ago. The rotors came pre-warped for my convenience :D. Had to get replacements but seller was understanding. Everything is fine now and I drive it like it's stolen. The new rotors are louder when breaki...

So is seafoam something everyone recommends? I have a 07 with 104K never had a problem other than the crappy suspension sway and the squeaking when going over bumps. Should seafoam be used for regular engine maintenance?

Hmm.. I had found another gas thread similar to this one where a few people had reported a mileage gain using premium. If it's truly not the case then yeah, no need to spend the extra. Are people seeing "280 miles to empty" as typical after a fillup (on the information screen)? When my wi...

I think I need to look into the bushings on the sway bar. When i'm driving highway speeds and go over a bump the whole truck just wobbles side to side and it is so bad that if I didn't hold onto the steering wheel, the truck would loose control for sure. Even if I turn the wheel side to side, it sta...

I got the Ranchos and I cant really tell a difference unless they are dialed all the way to 7. Anyone else have the rancho 9000xls? Still bouncing side to side down the road as usual. It is annoying enough to make me want to trade the damn thing in. I turn the dial to 9 and they jar my teeth loose. ...

Mine has been making the same whining noise at startup but then goes away after a few miles and will not happen again until engine gets cold started again. Still not sure if tensioner or timing chain
