thanks for the tip on the ATF recommendations. I'm scared to overfill, but when I check it in my garage (level surface) while at temp and running, the level is at the bottom mark on the 'HOT' side of the dipstick. When I turn it off and check it, the level looks right on. Do you know how much ATF it...

Thanks for the details. I just wasn't sure whether it should be running or not while I check it, thanks for clearing it up. Is the dealer the only place to buy the Matic S fluid (or online of course)? I checked it at normal temp the other day and the level read OK for the cold side but low for the H...

I think I hold off awhile longer to get the Bilstein 4600's. At least I can still buy the Air Ride 1000 kit from Amazon and pre-tend I have fresh suspension! :)

Just got off the phone with 3-4 companies and the Bilstein 4600 shocks and struts for the Pathfinders are on backorder nationwide! So looks like I'm SOL for awhile.. :x

Best place to buy Bilsteins?

Im due for new tires and alignment, and since I'm closing in on 100K, thought about getting new shocks and struts. I don't want to lift any and try to go as close to OE as I can. Everyone seems to rave about the Bilstein 4600 5100s. My OR has the Ranchos stock but I don't mind switching to Bilstein....

thanks for the link but I actually need the procedure to check the level, I.E. on level surface, engine warmed up, engine running? or off?
