The Pathy is my wife's DD and this is mine. It's an SVT Lightning. She's a little expensive to feed, but sure is fun. It has a 4lb lower pulley along with a few other mods and is making about 500hp to the FW. I have not had a chance to make it to the track yet this year, but I got to run a new Mach I Mustang a couple of weeks ago. He was not too happy about getting beat by an 11 year old truck. Wink

This is about as much off-roading it has ever seen. A place that we like to camp at in Oklahoma called Blue River has a mild water crossing to get over to the good campsites.

This is an '84 K5 Blazer that I'm working on. It has been on a deer lease the past ten years and was in pretty rough condition when I started on it. I've put a new motor in it and I'm currently working on the interior. I think I'm going to have to replace/rebuild the tranny.

I also have an '85 Chevy SWB pickup, but I don't have any current pics on the computer of it. This is a pic of the new bullet that I just put in it. It is a 427 bigblock. That should help out the GO factor.

Don't have a pic of my Xterra or PF yet. But here's my other ride, my Suzuki C50SE.

And the wife and I on it after a few mods. And no, that's not "the bird". It's a "peace" sign.

And one of my favorite rides, SCUBA diving and catching lobster!

I drive the Pathy, it replaced her old 96 Maxima which we put out to pasture at 300k+ miles. She drives an 01 325i which replaced my 99 Maxima which got totaled in 03.

It's from those Max's that I fell in love with the VQ engine. That damn things is amazing. Runs forever with very little maintenance, though I do take good care of it now. I never needed anything but oil changes until mine got wrecked at about 110k miles. Her 96 needed nothing until a starter at ~180k. Unbelievable. Only others on hers were a water pump at 275k and an alternator at ~300k. That's it. over 15 years. The VQ is awesome and why nothing but a Pathy was no-brainer when it came time for a truck.

The BMW is fun as hell to drive, but it's at ~100k miles so those tend to need EVERYTHING replaced at that point. Only a few little bits left and it will be showroom new. I just replaced the ENTIRE suspension last weekend (everything went except the steering rack). That was a long coup,e days in the garage. Entire cooling system was last winter. The nice thing is, if you replace the stuff as needed in binges every 100k, those can run to 300k miles as well. And Mother of God are they easy to work on. Take out one fan and you have room to do anything, it's like a 60's Oldsmobile once that fan is out.

Anyway, back to point, the 325i is the other car (but I do still miss the Maximas).
