1987 Pathy Rust removal

Postby Chadius » Tue Sep 02, 2014 6:20 pm

So I just bought it for 400$ it has lots of body rust i'm in Cleveland, OH.
The fenders are rusty and so is the bottom half of the car, I bought it because the frame and other vital were ziebart undercoated and seemed to be in descent condition but the body is a little rough, so I was asking were I can get really wide fenders flares and some wide rocker panels, also do you guys have anything good for "busting" rust, Just wanna slow the process. and cover it up and much as possible lol.

So can we please start a thread on RUST! or direct me to one please lol.

Look into a product called Por 15 for the rust.

Thanks for the advice I bought some and I am using it as a base layer at least in the rusty spots and then I will primer the whole vehicle and repaint.
Not trying to spend too much money or time I kinda just want to pretty it up at first glance it dosent have to last forever either, I also bought some bondo for my fenders, they are pretty hit, does any know how to do any good fender work?
Ill post some pics as soon as I figure out how lol.
