What color is my Pathfinder?

Anything automotive in nature, be it Nissan or one of those "other" manufacturers.

What color is my Pathfinder?

Postby porksoda » Wed May 07, 2014 9:45 pm

I was wondering if anyone knew what color my Pathfinder is?
I look up paint colors and there are like different gray colors.

Thanks!

There's a build placard at the bottom of the drivers door jam (toward back door) and it shows the color code. You can google that code or use it to buy touch-up paint.

The color on the door tag says K27.

I have looked up that paint code on a few different site. And it looks like I come up with 2 names which are: Storm Gray and Structural Gray Metallic.
I just think it's odd to have 2 different names.

As long as you buy Nissan paint, the code is what you want to go by. According to this Nissan parts site, it's Storm Gray. That also matches up with marketing materials from 2006.

Sometimes they will sell the same color with a different paint name depending on the model/year. Mine is A15 Red Brawn on the Pathfinder but it's called Sonoma Sunset on the cars.

Aftermarket paint sometimes will use totally different names and just cross-reference codes. I've never had good luck with after-market touch-up paint. OEM stuff is hard enough to match.
