Tiresss

Postby Ashie27 » Wed May 31, 2017 10:08 pm

Newbie here! I'm looking for recommendations on tires for my 08. Looking for something aggressive looking for a small amount of 4x4(lotssss of mud where I'm from) but will still be good for a daily driver? Thanks for any input!

Is snow an issue? Right now you can get the Hancook A/T for a real good price and from what I hear including a great recommendation from Consumer Reports its a great tire in all areas.

Cooper A/T3 is always a good choice. Firestone Destination A/T solid A/T tire.

You may want to pick an A/T tire with a more solid center like the Firestone. It will help with stability on the road and also improve on road handling. That is if you do a good amount of on road driving.

Oh awesome! I have a set of lt245/75/16 Firestone Destination tires. Do you know if those will fit my finder properly?

245/75R16 is the factory size on a 2008 Pathfinder S, which has 16" wheels. Other trim levels have 17" or 18" wheels. So, it depends on which wheels you have.

Then no. Your set of 245/75-16" tires will not fit your 17" wheels.

Top 5 all-terrain truck tires per Consumer Reports in order:

1-Hankook Dynapro AT-M
2-Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure
3-Michelin LTX A/T2
4-Cooper Discoverer A/TW
5-Falken Wildpeak A/T01

Value-wise, I think it's hard to beat the Hankook...

Hankook tires

Getting the Hankook Dynapros intstalled this week. Ordered the 265/65/17s through Walmart.com. On sale for 121.95, free delivery to local store. Seemed like a good deal compared to other Hankook dealers nearby.
