ARB COMPRESSOR INSTALLED

Postby Code Pathfinder » Fri Jan 10, 2020 8:00 pm

So after a few months at the body shop, I got my Pathfinder back! (got into an accident back in November :( )

One of the first things I did when I got the Pathfinder back from the shop was to install my ARB on board air compressor.

Here it is installed:

Mounted it to the engine cover. It has a metal backing plate for added support. The unit itself only weighs 10lbs. The plastic cover holds the unit quite well and it hasn't come loose since i mounted it.

I dont think the heat from the engine bay will affect the Air Compressor too much. it is mounted high above any areas of high heat.

I can fill up my 33 inch tires in about 5 minutes or less now without stopping at a gas station with a crappy air hose and chuck

Overall it's a very nice addition to the rig. Highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants or needs an on board air system.

I got an air compressor that plugs into a 12v outlet. Cost about $50. Plus it's portable. I can use it on my other car or my boat trailer.

UPDATE:

The Air Compressor has run flawlessly without any issues and has helped me out in some sticky situations!
