Brake Line Size 97 pathfinder 4wd

Postby dksellschicago » Mon Dec 02, 2019 4:57 pm

I have a couple brake lines that are leaking, I am almost positive that they are the hard lines. Does anyone know what size they are? I am thinking of buying a whole spool of brake line and going to town.

The brake line is 4.75MM, which is the same as 3/16-inch. The brake line nuts and fittings are most likely 10Mx1.0. I would recommend 90/10 copper/nickel brake line. It bends easily and it doesn't rust and you can buy it "by the roll."

Would this kit work?

Also, Is it safe to assume it is just a standard double flare on the lines? I mean, I guess I will find out when I remove them, but all I have is an SAE Flare kit

Yes, that should work, and double-flared fittings.
