It's mostly about how you drive and what kind of mixed driving you do. It eats gas the most when you aggressively accelerate from the dead stop to crusing speed. I intentionally accelerate by depressing the gas pedal very minimally...whenever I could to conserve the gas consumption.theo157 wrote:I just picked up a 2006 LE and am only seeing around 13 with mixed driving. I'm sort of disappointed. Only getting about 200 miles out of a tank. It seems like I'm always at the gas station.
I'll bet it is the tires. I recently put on brand new goodyear territory's 265/75/16 and noticed the mileage is going to sh*t, from 18.2 to 18.6 since the change.disallow wrote:I used to get mileage like that... I'm still trying to figure out if my tire change is the culprit or if I have something more serious on my hands.CRXguy wrote:Usually 10.8 - 11.6L/100km in the summer.
My first actual winter in the Pathfinder and it's now 14L/100km.
Most of my driving is 50/50 city/hwy.
Mine hovers around 15-17L/100km now.
