Yea, you can remove the whole door by taking out the two screws that hold it on the car. That will make it easier to put the clip back on.

Removing it from the car made it easier for me.

My first post here after using this board to learn how to find an '08 with 65k on the odometer and just 10k on the tranny and upgraded rad. Just wanted to say thanks
