The actual install wasn't too bad. I decided to take down the spare tire just so I can have more room since I am a big guy lol.

I decided to do an independent line to each air bag because I have read online that if you use the Y-Adapter that the air can travel from side to side. I rather had them both with a steady air pressure.
During the install I realized that the amount of black zip ties that they supply is barely enough to do the job at minimum. I ended up buying more zip ties so that I can make sure the hose is nice and secure everywhere. Last thing you want is the hose to get loose and rub against something to make a hole or crack.
Also I the job was much easier once I lowered the spare tire because that give a lot of room. I just crawled under and sat on the ground where the spare is mounted. I did not have to lift the vehicle or remove any of the wheels. I did compress each bag completely to remove any air and put the little cap on the top of each bag. With all the air squeezed out you can put push the bag between the largest coil gap. Once you get the bag into the coil you can remove the cap and it'll expand. While it is expanding you need to try to get the bag in place so it'll expand straight up and down. My first one I did I was not fast enough so it expanded sideways and it made it more difficult to straighten it up. I am sure you could lube stuff up with some water and soap to make things slide around better now that I think about it.
Also do not forget to put the valve on the top.
Lastly before you let the air bag fully expand you need to try to attach the hose though the top of the coil opening. That'll make things way easier. It makes it extremely difficult to attach that hose after it has fully expanded in the coil because you don't have much room to work with.

Well it's really not that close to the muffler and it is zip tied above it. I haven't had any problems with it. For some reason I remember people talking about putting a price of heat shield where the hose was close to the muffler. I won't worry about it as long as you don't leave it loose near the muffler. Just tie it away from it and you'll be food. Hope this helps.

Hey porksoda, thanks for this! Just installed the airlifts 2 weeks ago, and boy did my pathfinder changed! I just routed the airlines inside the chassis frame, just to be on the safe side. 13psi seems to be the sweet spot for me.
