Jordan

Postby NVSteve » Wed Jul 16, 2014 3:29 pm

Okay, so this was a two week trip in a rented Kia, but a road trip nonetheless. I could go on and on about all the

places we saw, but I'll keep it short with one word: Jordan. If you've never thought of it as a destination &

find the photos interesting, I can say a trip there is totally worth it.

Wow, amazing. I just watched Indiana Jones and the last crusade with my kids. Fewer booby traps on the inside I presume? Are you actually allowed in those buildings in Petra?

You can go pretty much anywhere you want within Petra, which is a seriously gigantic site. You can also enter everything except the Treasury (the one featured in Indiana Jones), but I think that's because it is the very first structure one meets after walking through the narrow entrance canyon, which means it is always a zoo compared to any other part of Petra.

Everybody knows lebanon is the place to go when visiting the middle east. You should come here next time. You get to do water activities and snow activities at the same day plus all the sight seeing you could imagine in addition to hotels and resturants.

None whatsoever. Safest & friendliest place in the middle east.
