phrozeinglass wrote:@goblue90 Just wondering did you notice a difference in mileage with the Firestone Destination A/Ts?

Thanks boys, I did look at the DuraTracs and they are alittle more than I can spend and I did like the reviews on the Destinations better. Thanks so much for the suggestions and I am open to more :)
Hey phrozeinglass, my only reference point was coming down from a set of 20" wheels that I used in the summer. Switching back to my stock wheels with the Firestones (I also used 265/70/17 instead of 265/65/17) improved my gas mileage compared to the 20" setup... I can only assume that your mileage may suffer a little if these tires are heavier than the ones you're current using.
I had these put on a month ago.

I'm running the Michelin AT2's right now. I've had them for about 10K miles and have no complaints. They are smoother on the highway than the Pirelli Scorpion ATR's I had before, did an amazing job in the snow last winter, and have worked well in light off-road use. So far I'm impressed. They are probably louder on the highway than a "good" m/s tire, but not any louder than the junk General Grabbers my '06 Pathfinder came from the factory with.

I had the dealer install a set of Michelin latitude touring tires, I have had very good experience with them. I have been installing them on most of the SUV's that come through my shop. Probably 20 or so pathfinders, and the customers are very happy with the outcome.
