Hi all, its been a while with an update. I want to find the best blades from my R51.

I find it makes a huge difference and varies by vehicle. I have 3 kids with cars so don't want to waste time with hits and misses so do tell your go to!

What do you think?

Rain-X Blades and Fluid for me as well. We had a very heavy storm through Missouri this past week. Most cars were pulled off to the side and I barely had my wipers on.

Best I've used are Valeo 900 series blades. At Rockauto, they are listed under the "Premium-beam" category of wiper blades:

right side: Valeo 900181B
left side: Valeo 900241B

In the rear, I use Valeo 12B

Clay bar your windshield before the winter season and do it every 4 months.

I have been using the Bosch Icon blades and they have worked great (front only, never ever use the rear wiper so never bothered to change it).
That said, I Rain-x every few months and therefore use the wipers very sparingly, even during Miami downpours. It does help to be at speed 40-60 for rain-x to work really well.

I have yet to try this but I'll give it a go next time I am detailing. Do you use the quik detail spray or just water? Also, I am guessing you do this to prep the surface before a coat of Rain-x?
