YD25DDTi - Cat removal

Postby nzmikec » Mon Sep 06, 2021 11:48 am

Hi,
Anyone have any experience with removing the catalytic core from a YD25DDTi Euro 3?
There appears to be no monitoring after the catalytic converter so shouldn't fault any engine codes? Mine is partially foweled so hoping for some fuel efficiency / power gains.
Thanks

I've no experience with these engines, but I'm certain that there is monitoring after a catalytic.
The upstream is usually an air ratio, and the downstream is efficiency?

I found this discussion thread on cat removals that probably helps you out better.
