Are side mirrors meant to fold in?

Postby SoloVoyager » Sun Nov 21, 2021 7:40 pm

Mine don't fold In after pressing that switch, or are they meant to be tucked in manually by hand? (For example, on narrow streets where you're worried about your mirrors being clipped by passing cars).

What could be the problem?

It's a 2007. I just got hold of the online user manual, and have read that my Pathy, apparently, only has manual foldIng mirrors.

The switch I think therefore is only for adjusting the glass mirrors' angle.

Thanks for replying nevertheless :)

The very best feature I liked on my side mirrors - were on my old Saab 9-5.

The mirrors would automatically angle down to the ground, when you placed the car in reverse gear.

This would allow you could see how close you were to the curb/lines when parking. They would then return to normal position, outside of reverse gear.

Those Swedes.

No worries, I thought if there was such a feature I would love to have it on my R51.
