In my relatively minimal experience with these R51s I'd say no. Sleepy rear springs are pretty common it seems. A fresh pair of MOOG springs, spring rubbers, and KYB shocks and mine sits level. Note, after installing those springs it did look a little tall for a week or so until they settled in.
If the rear is bad I would imagine the front struts are too.
So front fender height shouldn’t be more than the rear ?Thupertrooper wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 7:36 pmI second the OEM Pathfinder springs being worn out. The truck should sit level or little forward rake ( aslong as the fronts are good).
This is how tall my 2005 100K miles sat. No weight OEM Suspension.Limey wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 8:14 pmSo front fender height shouldn’t be more than the rear ?Thupertrooper wrote: ↑Tue Jul 05, 2022 7:36 pmI second the OEM Pathfinder springs being worn out. If you look at my Avatar you can see how much it would sag with cargo load.
Front shocks and springs have been recently changed and rear shocks changed. back springs are originalAS_The_Crow_Flys wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 4:30 pmLOL. Thats terrible.Thupertrooper wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 11:31 amThis is how tall my 2005 100K miles sat. No weight OEM Suspension.

The pathfinder is supposed to have a factory rake (meaning the rear is higher than the front). If you don't have this your springs in the front or rear are probably shot. In my opinion the rear springs are crap, but I supposed I only was around after they had 75k on them. But on the bright side, its a good time for a little lift .
1/4” higher or lower on the back or front ?TooMuchControl wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 8:36 amFender gaps/heights from the ground are specified by Nissan in the maintenance manual if I recall.
I'm trying to find the page, but I know it's in there somewhere.
This is how I checked I properly loaded the suspension when I changed the control arms.
There is a slight difference between the front and rear, maybe 1/4" or something.
I will try to find it.
