Interior Fuse Box Ground Wire Location

Postby AndrewT » Tue Mar 22, 2022 7:44 pm

Hi all,

I'm hardwiring in a dashcam and I plan to use the interior fuse box on the passenger side. I'm going to use one of the empty ACC slots, but I'm not too sure where I should ground the connection. If there is an easy to get to chassis ground around the fuse box, I'd like to use that. The ground like is an open circle, so I can put it on basically any bolt that connects to the chassis, but I'd like to do a clean install and use the factory ground location for the interior box if possible.

Thanks!

The mounting screws for the fusebox are generally both good grounds. The bracket they screw into is part the steering crossmember.
