Door number 3 for rusty fasteners. Deoxit for cleaning electrical terminals, WD40 for protecting them.

I used to use PB Blaster on my old BMW Bavaria (72, 73, or 74 I forget at this point). It was okay, better than any other option I had at the time.

I have some seafoam deep creep to try. According to project farm its supposed to be pretty good. But the truth is I just don't have much rust to truly put it to the test with (i live in silicon valley). But maybe its worth a shot.

Up here, Rust Cure 3000 is very popular. I get cans when on sale.
It's creeper and can be used for rust proofing and safe on all electrical and rubbers.
3-4 cans covers the entire frame and underneath, wells. etc and you have some left over to "go over" other areas.

Seems to do a good job for the price.

For rust, PB blaster for sure - but this stuff gives headaches if not used in good ventilated areas.

for bolts/nuts - buy a Milwaukee Compact Impact (18V or 12V) and blast the nuts off. T
I was able to remove 24mm steering rack nuts with a 12V Milwaukee Compact impact if one can believe it.

I roll the 18V 1/2" Milwaukee 2767 for the big stuff. It's either going to remove it or snap it.

That's my kind of attitude. Love it.
