It sounds like you've replaced the solenoid and the valve, and weighed the canister. Did you do all of the other troubleshooting in the FSM (check the lines, etc.)?

That's a conundrum, may need to go deep and check the signal to the solenoid, etc.

I’m looking at page EC-394 in the full service manual (FSM). Are you able to do the electrical checks in the troubleshooting procedures there? I.e., check for battery voltage in the line to the solenoid, etc.?

The app I posted about (Nissan DataScan II) should be able to see all of the CONSULT II data and signals the FSM mentions, I will try to check those later and see if it’s functional on my truck. That may help you identify a signal issue.

I am curious how AutoNation was able to reprogram your ECU. Are they also a Nissan dealership, or did they send it over to a Nissan dealer to have it done? Someone else may know but I suspect you would need a CONSULT terminal to do it.

Checked Nissan DataScan this morning on the commute:

I can see EVAP system data in Nissan DataScan II. I think you should be able to do all of the troubleshooting in the service manual where it calls for using CONSULT II to verify operation.

I was getting that one a year or two ago and I took the vapor canister off and cleaned it out with an air compressor. That fixed my issue. It was full of dirt.

+1. At this point I'd say the canister itself is the likely culprit. Dirty, cracked, or flooded.
