Replaced battery but still won't start

From MN with 14 Pathfinder SL. Went to FL in mid December. Came back before Xmas and the car won't crank up. Nothing. No lights. No heater. Nothing. Replaced the battery. But it won't start. It clicks and I press the Start button. SO I jumped it with my wife's Crosstrek. I press it still clicks, but then a full second later, it starts up. Then I ran it around the neighborhood, then back home. Turned it off. Turned it back on, won't start again. Jumped it again. Over the weekend, it started it up on its own. Then yesterday, it won't again. Had to jump it again to start. Just clicks when you press Start. What could this be? Alternator?

Sounds more like a potential bad starter solenoid than a bad alternator, but, the charging system can be tested and make sure the cable connections to the battery are both clean and tight.
