Currently 345K.
I bought my '05 in 2006 with 16K. I've done all the repair, maintenance, and upgrades on her myself over the years.
3 years ago at 275K, I did a VK56 engine swap... Engine, transmission, ecm, wiring harness from a 2010 Titan. Also installed long tube headers, free-flow cats, and an UpRev tune.
She is still running strong.

345k miles, thats no joke!
The VQ seems to have had alot of life in it at 275k yes?

Much was work was this all in hours?
I already have a VK56 from the factory but curious.
Isnt there a shop that does this turnkey?

Also with headers, free flows and an UPRev you should be making serious power.
You dynoed it during the UpRev tune or did you order a "canned" one?

212K:

Replaced my dead cat yesterday. Well...Nissan did and gave me a great deal on labor. It took them two days on the lift to ease the bolts apart and several broke anyway (this thing has spent half its life on the east coast), confirming this was not something I wanted to do in my garage. Among other things, the ECU had been running things rich so while I never got to sulfur smell, I did smell gas and other things.

Between that and fixing all of the many, many leaks in my elderly truck over the last two years, the oddest thing happened yesterday. My truck smells like nothing but "normal hot engine smell" in my garage. No coolant, no cooking oil, no exhaust weirdness. Can't remember the last time that was the case...there's always been "something." 😎

I took my truck in for a clunk I suspected was a front UCA ball joint at 212K, a week before a 1,500 mile road trip around California. Asked them to look around at everything. Now has a new front right wheel bearing (only one that had ever been replaced, at around 120K miles...), new front LCAs, and new rear coil buckets.

Wasn't that bad before but once again, a little better at 213K miles!
