2012 SV here @ 116k miles. This is wifey's daily driver. I got me a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie last year for myself.

No major mechanical problems so far. I keep up with the oil changes every 7.5k miles.

Major maintenance last month:
- New spark plugs
- Serpentine belt
- Differential fluid front/back
- Transfer case fluid (Did tranny fluid last year)
- New tires

I attempted to replace brakes last weekend. Couldn't get the passenger caliper off. After 3 hours, I gave up and put everything back. I'll either get my friend to help me out, or bring it to a shop later on.

Might as well update too.
At 177,000 miles on my 4x4 V8 now.
Nothing major ever broke while I owned it but previous owner broke rear springs, and blew the rear shocks..

We should really change this to include high engine hours (how to get that information of the computer?).

Pretty sure some folks drive in the city and the mileage could appear meek compared to some of the nomads here :)

That being said - it's impressive to see what mileage folks put on these R51s over the years.

Ended up selling the R51 V6 with 330.000km on it. Started to have wear and tear issues. Fixed rust a couple of times. Plastic components in the engine bay started to fail. Replaced the heater core with pump and lines and everything, and because of the dual-zone climate control in the LE that turned out to be expensive. Had to replace a few hoses that were dry rotting, that was fine. But there were a lot of little plastic components under the hood that were starting to worry me, after the whole heater core adventure that ended up dumping every last drop of coolant on the road. Besides these issues, mainly just wear, and replacement parts started to total up to the value of the car. Did wheel bearings, but brakes needed work, a couple of bushings were suspect, tie rod ends needed done...list was growing.
Spent a weekend washing, polishing, vacuuming and whatnot and sold it to a guy that was looking for an off roader for his property. Seemed to be a handy guy and he was doing the work himself.

Moved on to a 2018 4Runner last fall. Have to admit I miss the Pathy. It had more character, despite the Runner being a better truck (at twice the price).

I have 340,058 original engine and transmission. I am in the SE so no rust issues and its in great shape. I bought it with 9 miles on it in 2012. Lots of tires, brakes, 2 control arms and other wear stuff but not scared to jump in it and drive wherever I want to.

Dang, mines just a preteen compared to yours. 2007 with 121k.

I was proud that mine was high miles but its little compared to yours, 183,xxx miles on mine now.

My Pathfinder is a 2010 i purchased it with 48 K on the Odometer about 10 years ago I now am at 89K so I DO NOT DRIVE IT THAT MUCH. I hope to have it another 10 years. I saw you post and was happy to see if taken care of these vehicles last. I did replace the radiator before the thing failed for preventative and also have it dealer serviced with synthetic oil , transmission et. not super lube shops. I hope to get high miles from it. Thankyou for your post.

I'll post mine: 2012 SV with 140,000 miles now. Stock.

Use case: Overlanding in Utah and Colorado, towing a 4,000 lb boat, around town, and several long distance drives each year.

Repairs:
1. Driver door window switch became glitchy with the rear windows around 115K miles , so I replaced it with an aftermarket unit.
2. Last week the air bag warning light popped for an open circuit on the passenger side seat air bag. Went to the dealer for that one and they traced it to a wire break in the dash. Seat, carpet, and dash had to come out for the repair. I don't often hand over repairs to other people but I was glad I did on this one.
3. Currently the radio time of day won't stay set and the radio stations can't be programmed. It's not the fuse. A new radio unit is needed, but according to the dealer they're not manufactured any longer and if they were it would cost $1,700, Not worth it. I'm on the hunt for a used unit. The challenge is that it's not a Bose and most resellers don't have a clue how to differentiate between Bose and non-Bose.
4. Cam bolts for the suspension are seized with no way to adjust them. Fortunately the alignment is near ideal so it's not a problem right now, but could require control arm replacements on all 4 corners in the future.

That's it. Solid vehicle and difficult to replace with anything new being manufactured today. There's really nothing like it built anymore. 4Runner is kind of close but feels cramped compared to the Nissan and has a lower tow limit. Everything else is either much larger or a lifted and less practical minivan.

2008 V8 4wd.
170K... have recently replaced entire rear suspension, front coils, front lowers, hitch...
Engine burns oil around a quart every 1500 miles, and the front diff seal is leaking. Contemplating replacing the rear and front diffs with deeper geared units.
