I believe a lot of the base model versions were the same in the X and Pathfinder.

Probably the Frontier as well, but if you want everything to work, you still need a compatible part number. Nissan doesn't use "universal" harnesses, so using a "lookalike" part that doesn't actually fit can literally smoke things.

I had the same problem a few years ago. Replaces the valve cover gaskets and all was well. They were a lot less then 100$ around 50$ at the time i think. I usually order my OEM parts from https://www.courtesyparts.com/ they are a nissan dealership out of texas.
