Steering/Brake shudder

Just wanted to reach out and see if others have ever had this issue occur.

When driving if I hit a significant bump, pothole, speed bump etc... I feel a shudder happen in the steering wheel and simultaneously feel a shudder in the brake pedal. It is not ABS kicking on or anything. But odd that I feel it in both the steering and brake. I wondered if it had to do with the steering rack bushings. I purchased some PRG bushings awhile back but have not installed yet. Not sure how that would affect the brake pedal feel though.

Any suggestions or ideas on what this could be?

Inspect all your control arms, ball joints, bushings, and inner/outer tie rods as well as steering rack.
