New stereo with Apple Carplay

I did a thing...

Atoto S8 Premium. Don't know if I'll try to install cameras, but I like it a lot already. Fast and snappy. I put the GPS, 4G, and WiFi antennas under the dash. Speed sensitive sound works, etc.

Nice!

This unit looks like a good value. I looked up the LRV feature on this. Looks interesting.
Compared to my older XAV-AX100 unit, these are really adding a ton of technology.

I'm fortunate that Android Auto has pushed as many updates as they have, to keep up to these new head units, as much possible.

I think one of the better option is that this head unit has wired and wireless AA and Car Play, and gesture controls.

Any glare with the OLED?

Wow. You have a ton of missed calls!

It's a matte screen, no glare problems so far. Only thing I don't like about it is the "dim" setting at night is a little brighter than I'd like it to be, but it's liveable and the whole unit can at least be turned off. My last head unit did not actually dim with the headlights even though the harness has a signal for it, so I'm just happy it does that.
