TPMS Compatibility

Postby Grumpah » Tue Nov 12, 2024 7:53 pm

I have a set of Nissan rims and tires from my 2013 SL that eventually I'd like to use on my 2023 Plat. The 40700-3JA0B sensors on the SL are not compatible with the 40700-6UA0B sensors that come with the Plat. My question is can a dealer or tire dealer reprogram the old sensors so that they can be used on my 2023?

Not unless they're aftermarket sensors. Most aftermarket stuff can be programmed for personality, but the OEM sensors on a '13 were fixed frequency and firmware.
